The Northern New Jersey Holocaust Memorial and Education Center will screen “Bardejov,” a film about a Slovakian town’s extraordinary efforts to save hundreds of Jewish girls from the death camps. The program is set for Wednesday, March 18, at 7 p.m., at Congregation Keter Torah in Teaneck.

The film is produced by a Holocaust survivor, Emil Fish, who escaped from Bardejov, and it highlights the courage and sacrifice of the Bardejov Jewish community. Mr. Fish, who is the benefactor of Yeshiva University’s Fish Center for Holocaust Studies, will answer questions after the film.

The evening also will include a preview of the new interactive design for the future Northern New Jersey Holocaust Memorial & Education Center in Teaneck.

Admission is free, but registration is requested at www.nnjholocaustmemorial.org.
