Memorial to a hero - The Jewish Standard

Many thanks for the excellent article about the life of Nat Nadler (“Steaming toward Palestine,” Aug. 3). Nat, a member of Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley for over 20 years, frequently shared his many experiences with us. As a member of the crew of the Exodus, he was a man of valor and a true hero. He once said that if he accomplishes nothing else in his life, he will always know that his efforts as a crew member of that fateful ship resulted in the ultimate miracle of the establishment of the State of Israel. Thank you for that beautiful memorial to our hero.
