Members of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey visited state Senator Nellie Pou (D-35th Dist.) at her office on May 30. The group discussed relations and concerns about Israel, homeland security, anti-Semitism, and senior care with Carol Cuadrado, Ms. Pou’s chief of staff.

The JCRC director, Ariella Noveck, said, “It was great talking about JFNNJ’s top priorities that are of concern for kids, adults, and seniors.”

The JCRC meets with legislators of a single district in its catchment area each month. Small groups will meet with the legislators face-to-face to advocate key issues affecting the community and the state of New Jersey. For more information or to attend the next Legislative Advocacy Day, email Ariella Noveck at ariellaN@jfnnj.org.
