JCCP/CBT annual dinner marks 60 years since groundbreaking

About 125 guests celebrated the 60th anniversary of the groundbreaking of the Jewish Community Center of Paramus, now known as the JCC/Congregation Beth Tikvah.

Shul president Howard Leopold, Rabbi Arthur Weiner, and Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera were among the speakers. Mayor LaBarbiera included his appreciation to the shul for its help in the recent tragedy involving the Eastbrook Middle School. Henry Weber, the shul’s first president, read the speech he gave 60 years before, when the ground was broken for construction of the JCCP.
