JCC of Northern NJ celebrates its supporters
Last month, the JCC of Northern New Jersey’s supporters, friends, family, and staff gathered for its third annual spring celebration. The program, honoring community leaders Howard Jakob and Erica Danziger, was a testament to the JCCNNJ’s core mission: building community, creating opportunities for Jewish joy, and fostering deep, lasting peer connections across generations. So far, the commemorative journal has raised $310,000 to support the JCC of Northern New Jersey’s operational and programmatic needs.
The Julie Eisen z”l & Buzz Rukin Leadership award was presented to Eva Jakob z”l and Howard Jakob for their visionary commitment and enduring impact on the community. Erica Danziger earned the Community Connector award celebrating her ability to bring people together and spark meaningful community relationships. Through their shared vision, kindness, and commitment to strengthening Jewish life in Northern New Jersey, the honorees continue to inspire the next generation to engage in Jewish life.
