Glen Rock Jewish Center volunteers care for elderly

During the High Holiday season, members of the Chesed (Lovingkindness) Committee at Glen Rock Jewish Center — including, from left, Jane Spindel, Donna Feigenbaum, and Cecile Mitzner — cooked and prepared meals for 14 seniors above the age of 90 in the community.

The holiday meal consisted of chicken soup, challah, salad, chicken, rice, and string beans, with babka and cookies for dessert. Those interested in joining the committee of caring individuals should contact Mady Koransky
