It’s traditional to place American flags on the graves of U.S. veterans to mark Memorial Day. This year, the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey helped lead that effort in local Jewish cemeteries. In partnership with the Bergen County Division of Veteran Services, JFNNJ mobilized 30 students from the Frisch School to place flags at Cedar Park and Beth El cemeteries in Paramus.

Bergen County Commissioner Tracy Silna Zur helped coordinate the program.
