Family caregivers group to convene for initial meeting at Temple Beth Or

In his Rosh Hashanah sermon, Temple Beth Or’s rabbi, Noah Fabricant, spoke about the challenges and blessings of caring for an aging or ill parent, spouse, or other family member, and he announced the creation of a new family caregivers group. The first meeting, which will bring together caregivers in the community to share experiences and support each other, will be on Thursday, February 1, at 7 p.m., at the shul, 56 Ridgewood Road in Washington Township.

Rabbi Fabricant will lead the new group along with guest professionals, including physicians, social workers, tax attorneys, and insurance and other specialists.
