Eight schools from five countries will unite in song in the upcoming Boys Town Jerusalem international Virtual Choral Festival on Sunday, February 21, at 1 p.m. For the past 13 years, the annual festival, in support of the Israeli school’s underprivileged students, has been held in London. This year, the festival will be virtual, and will feature choirs from Jewish day schools across the world. Those choirs include the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County, on Long Island, as well as Boys Town Jerusalem in Israel; KTC and Mt. Sinai, both in Australia; Camel Elementary School in Hong Kong; Yeshiva College in South Africa; and Naima JPS, Hertsmere JPS, and Sacks Morasha JPS, all in the United Kingdom. The festival also will include a tribute in honor of the late Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks.
