Best-selling author comes to River Vale

Best-selling author Susan Horowitz Cain headlined “Brunch and Conversation,” the Jewish Home Foundation Women’s Society’s inaugural event. Over 60 people attended the March 6 program at Jewish Home Assisted Living in River Vale.
Rachel Rimland, a member of the Jewish Home Family board, was the moderator for the session, which discussed Ms. Cain’s New York Times bestsellers, “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” and “Bittersweet: How Sorrow and Longing Make Us Whole.” There was also a Q&A session and participants left with signed copies of “Bittersweet,” a gift from the Jewish Home Foundation.
