Author to discuss Jewish and Indian history
On Sunday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m., Teaneck’s Congregation Beth Aaron hosts Jai Chakrabarti, author of “A Play for the End of the World.” He will discuss his book, which won the National Jewish Book Award’s Goldberg prize for debut fiction and also was named the Jewish Fiction Award Honor Book by the Association of Jewish Libraries. Nancy Edelman, who teaches English at SAR High School, and Meylekh Viswanath, who grew up in India and teaches finance at Pace University, will lead the discussion of the book, which intertwines Jewish and Indian history.
