Art in Closter
“Heaven and Earth: An Artistic Interpretation,” is at the Belskie Museum of Art & Science in Closter. The show includes work by 34 artists who have interpreted and developed a visual concept of the exhibit theme. The show opened on September 8 and it runs through September 29, with an artists’ round table talk from 3 to 5 p.m. on that last day.
Artists Sheryl Intrator Urman of Englewood and Fred Spinowitz of New York are the curators. They have been affiliated with the Belskie Museum for more than 11 years.
The Belskie is open on the weekends from 2 to 4 p.m.
Local groups are welcome to arrange visits to the exhibit; to date, participants include Five Star Premier Residences of Teaneck and the Jewish Home at Rockleigh. To reserve a time to bring a school or senior citizens group to the show, email Ms. Intrator at artforlearning@yahoo.com. For more information, go to www.BelskieMuseum.com.
