The Valley Chabad Teen Leadership Initiative’s annual appreciation event was held at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton on May 15. It recognized more than 100 teen participants from the Pascack Valley and Saddle River communities in the Initiative’s programs: Friendship Circle, CTeen, Linking Hearts, and Eternal Flame.

Teens representing each of the four programs spoke about how the programs affected them personally.

Every teen received a certificate and a gift for their volunteering and participation. Parents, friends, community members, and Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi were there. The program is led by Rabbi Yosef and Estie Orenstein under the guidance of Valley Chabad’s executive director, Rabbi Dov Drizin.
