YU basketball team pays tribute to Pittsburgh shooting victims

Yeshiva University’s men’s basketball team honored the victims murdered at the Pittsburgh Tree of Life synagogue during its home opener. The players wore special warm-up jerseys honoring the victims, and a number 11 jersey was unveiled in the gym to be displayed for the season. The team also held a moment of silence for 11 seconds, and team co-captain Simcha Halpert spoke.
