YCT yemei iyun are August 30-31

The 19th annual Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Yemei Iyun (days of study) on Bible and Jewish thought in memory of Riva Koschitky z”l, sponsored by Tamar and Eric Goldstein, will be on August 30 and 31. This year, it will be held live entirely online. For the first time, YCT will partner with Sefaria, the online platform for Jewish learning, in organizing the program. This year’s topic will be “Themes of the Yamim Noraim in Tanakh, Mahshava, and Tefillah.” Some of the shiurim will be closed captioned for the hard of hearing. Plans call for 30 shiurim over two days; the 25 lecturers include Nehama Price, Judy Klitsner, and Rabbanit Sara Wolkenfeld; Drs. Yael Ziegler, Yonatan Grossman, and Tammy Jacobowitz; and Rabbis Hayyim Angel, Yitzchak Blau, Menachem Leibtag, Yitzchak Etshalom, David Silber, and Avi Weiss.

Program co-sponsors include the Center for Modern Torah Leadership, Drisha Institute for Jewish Education, the Institute for Jewish ideas and Ideals, the National Bible Contest, 929 Tanakh Program, Ohr Torah Stone, Yeshivat Maale Gilboa, and Yeshivat Maharat.
