Yakko Warner: Palestinian sympathizer or ultra Zionist?
Remember the cartoon “Animaniacs” from the mid 1990s? I do.
There was a bit with Yakko Warner singing the countries of the world. And Youtube has preserved it for eternity.
Listen closely. When he’s singing the Middle East he points to Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel. But then at the end of the song he includes Palestine. He’s pointing to the middle of the ocean near Asia, which makes it even odder.

What do you think? “Animaniacs” ran from 1993 until 1995, during the early years of the Oslo Accords. Were the producers showing support for the process? Solidarity with the Palestinians? Or were they being anti-Palestinian since Yakko pointed to Israel where it should be, but pointed to the middle of the ocean for Palestine?
