Woodcliff Lake shul has new executive director

Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley welcomed Pamela Posnock as its new executive director. After a career in the corporate world, most recently Ms. Posnock was the synagogue administrator at the Morristown Jewish Center. She graduated from Wharton and has extensive experience in financial and marketing analysis.

Her favorite part of the job, Ms. Posnock said, is building relationships with congregants. “I am looking forward to meeting the Temple Emanuel community as we begin to open our building and prepare for the High Holidays.”

She is excited about working with creative clergy, a flourishing preschool, a strong religious school, and active sisterhood and men’s club, recognizing that these are all necessary attributes for a growing synagogue. She will be collaborating with religious and lay leaders as the shul once again opens its doors.

The chair of the search committee, Susan Bromberg, said, “We are thrilled to have Pam here and wish her a long, successful tenure at Temple Emanuel.”
