Women of Reform Judaism gather for district convention in Tenafly

Last weekend, Women of Reform Judaism held its Atlantic District convention at the Clinton Inn and at Temple Sinai of Bergen County, both in Tenafly. On Shabbat, Rabbi Dr. Andrea Weiss, the provost of Hebrew Union College — Jewish Institute of Religion, was the guest speaker, and singer Sheldon Low performed. Attending, from left: Sinai Sisterhood past president Ilene Wechter; Woman of Valor honoree and Sinai Sisterhood secretary Anne Fleisher; newly sworn-in WRJ district president Annice Benamy of Temple Sinai Sisterhood; Temple Sinai Sisterhood president Franci Steinberg; and Sinai Sisterhood treasurer Hilary Eth.
