I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate Rabbi Joshua Pruzansky on his new role with the Orthodox Union in Trenton (“OU beefs up lobbying effort,” July 27). I have worked with Rabbi Pruzansky and he has consistently been an excellent advocate.
As mentioned in the article, I too was happy to see $3 million in the budget for the nonpublic technology initiative, but I am sure that Rabbi Pruzansky shares my disappointment with Governor Christie’s removal of an additional $4 million to this initiative placed in the budget by the Legislature. The governor removed these dollars without providing a reason.
I look forward to continue working with Rabbi Pruzansky on these issues that we agree are important, regardless of our political affiliation.
