We Con the World – no more
JTA reports that the “We Con the World” flotilla video has been removed from Youtube because of copyright issues with the original “We Are the World” song.
My understanding of copyright law – and I am a long-time follower of “Weird Al” Yankovic – is that Carolyn Glick is correct and her group’s use of the “We Are the World” melody is in fact legal as a parody. Any copyright lawyers out there who care to weigh in?
