Wayne shul honors its volunteers

Volunteers were honored at a recent Shabbat at Temple Beth Tikvah in Wayne. Janice Paul, the synagogue’s past president and “ever-present” volunteer, received the George Rafes award, which is given to a member who serves Temple Beth Tikvah with heartfelt devotion and limitless time. Joan Gottlieb, the shul president and former Rafes Award recipient, presented it to Ms. Paul.

She was among more than 160 of the volunteers who were honored. Beryl Paul coordinated the volunteer appreciation program.
