Wayne Interfaith Network’s autumn food drives

The Wayne Interfaith Network is a non-profit tax-exempt organization that operates a food pantry for Wayne residents. ITS coalition of volunteers come from synagogues, churches, and other organizations.

Two Wayne synagogues, Shomrei Torah and Temple Beth Tikvah, recently sponsored their annual High Holiday nonperishable food and basic necessities drives, amid the restraints and restrictions of the pandemic. The essential annual drives are vital in helping to stock the WIN food pantry for the winter.

Donations of non-perishable food are made by appointment only. For more information about WIN, and to see a list of what the pantry needs most, go to winfoodpantry.org or call (973) 595-1900. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance from the WIN food pantry, call the Wayne Township Director of Senior and Social Services at (973) 694-1800, ext. 3281.
