The American Jewish reggae star is back in Israel and looks like he's arrived home.
Matisyahu played a concert in Jerusalem and now he’s singing an ode to the holy city on Israel’s ‘Galei Tzahal’ (Army Radio).
The American Jewish reggae sensation recently made headlines for his symbolic defiance in the face of threats by the Boycott Israel (BDS) movement.
In this video the singer plays his hit single “Jerusalem” but includes some freestyle lyrics and improvisation in a live radio performance.
He also played the Bob Marley song “Crazy Baldheads”:
