The Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation & Foundation of Rockland County presents “What Is Anti-Semitism?” the first of a three-part webinar series on challenging issues facing the Jewish community. The panel, on Wednesday, October 20, at 7 p.m., includes Abraham Foxman of Bergen County, the former longtime national director of the Anti-Defamation League and a world-renowned leader in the fight against anti-Semitism, bigotry, and discrimination; Michael Cohen of Englewood, the eastern director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, who uses lessons of the Holocaust to confront anti-Semitism, hate, and terrorism, while providing training on prejudice, diversity, and tolerance issues; and Stephanie Hausner, the chief program officer of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, who works with member organizations on combating anti-Semitism and promoting U.S. – Israel relations.

Future webinars are planned on diversity and Israel advocacy. Pre-registration is required at JewishRockland.org.
