The Jewish Federation of Rockland County has encouraged members of the synagogues whose leaders belong to the Rockland Board of Rabbis to look for ways to get together during the pandemic. Two of those shuls, the Nanuet Hebrew Center and the Montebello Jewish Center, join every Thursday at 8 p.m., after the online NHC minyan, for joint men’s club-sponsored “virtual” drinks with friends.
The groups discovered this is a great way for everyone to see each other and catch up while still maintaining social distancing. There is no cost, no RSVP, and everyone brings their own favorite beverage. For more information, go to www.nanuethc.org.
