Presented by The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey

The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey offers a Zoom discussion, “Calling a Timeout: A Look into Professional Sports After Covid-19,” on Tuesday, July 7 at 8 p.m.

Rabbi David-Seth Kirshner of Temple Emanu-El of Closter moderates a discussion about what the typical sports fan can expect as the world begins to open up, seen through the lenses of people close to the action. Hear from different voices in the sports world with panelists including play-by-play broadcaster Kenny Albert, who works with the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA; MLB executive vice president Noah Garden; Dr. Lee H. Igel, an associate professor at NYU’s Tisch Institute for Global Sport; Tracy Wolfson, lead sideline reporter for CBS Sports; and Daniel Zausner, a tournament manager for the U.S. Open Tennis Championships.
