The Jewish Learning Program of Temple B’nai Abraham in Livingston held its third grade consecration virtual service last month. More than 40 children were consecrated, in a Zoom meeting that drew more than 90 people, including the students with their parents, siblings, and grandparents. Rabbi David Z. Vaisberg and Cantor Jessica Epstein officiated, as did school director “Morah Melissa” Weiner. Days before the service, Ms. Weiner and Arleen Lichtenstein, the JLP’s special programs coordinator, hand-delivered Shabbat boxes with the written service, a tie-dyed kippah, candlesticks, and more.
