The Teaneck connection
Nate Bloom’s excellent Aug. 14 article “Woodstock: The Jewish Connection” contained an omission of another important Jewish New Jersey connection to the festival. While the article mentioned that I was the author of “Max Said Yes! The Woodstock Story,” a children’s book about Woodstock and my famous cousin Max Yasgur, it neglected to mention my co-author (and husband) Joseph Lipner. Joseph’s Lipner’s family hails from right here in the Jewish community in Teaneck. For more on the book, and my husband’s and my connection to Woodstock, see our Website at www.maxsaidyes.com.
