Natalie Snyder, 15, a freshman at Tenafly High School, has launched Natalie’s Masks LLC, her own face mask design and production company. She began work at her home on April 30, and so far she has produced more than 150 masks since the pandemic began. It started as a project for her online high school painting class but soon evolved into a company as friends and acquaintances commissioned Natalie to make them cloth face masks. Natalie’s younger sister, Sara, 12, created the company’s website, nataliesmasks.com.
“I like making cotton face masks that are comfortable and look good, but are still affordable,” said Natalie, who attended the JYEP Hebrew School in Teaneck. All of Natalie’s handmade cloth face masks can be seen on the company’s website and she is donating a portion of her profits to local food pantries to help those in need during this unprecedented time.
