Temple Emeth donates to Mazon

Every year since 1999, some of the proceeds from the mishloach manot program at Temple Emeth in Teaneck have been donated to Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger. This year, with Mazon’s “This Is Hunger” truck in the shul’s parking lot, Rabbi Steven Sirbu, right, presented a donation to Rabbi Joel Pitkowsky of Congregation Beth Sholom, also in Teaneck. Rabbi Pitkowsky sits on Mazon’s board. Temple Emeth congregant Judy Fox helps coordinate the program.
