Teaneck Int’l Film Fest brings back free Kid Flicks One

Kid Flicks One is coming back to the Teaneck International Film Festival. The program of award-winning shorts for 5- to 10-year-olds, from the New York International Children’s Film Festival, will be presented free of charge Sunday, Nov. 5, at 1:30 p.m., at the Teaneck Public Library.

The 63-minute program is offered in partnership with the Puffin Foundation, Ltd., the Teaneck public library, and Friends of the Teaneck Library.

Kid Flix, as it used to be known, was hosted by Bob McGrath every year until the pandemic. It was a favorite of our youngest moviegoers and the adults who accompanied them.

“Let your imagination take the wheel with Kid Flicks One,” say those who put it together. “Whether dreaming up the fantastical, like a spider’s goal to capture the moon, or the practical, like a young animator’s future stardom, these shorts are sure to enchant and delight all audiences.”

Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, and advance reservation is required. Go to teaneckfilmfestival.org for information and a link to tickets for Kid Flicks One and all the films on the 2023 TIFF schedule. Email questions to teaneckfilmfestival@gmail.com.
