Talking about American Jews

Rabbi Dr. David Fine of Temple Israel and Jewish Community Center in Ridgewood continues a six-session Sunday morning class on American Jewry. Learn about the origins of the community, its development through American history, and the challenges it faces today. Classes will be held on November 11 and 18, February 24, and March 3 and March 31, all at 10 a.m.

Highlights include Adele Rebell as scholar-in-residence on the Shabbat of March 1 and 2; a visit from Cantor Gerald Cohen, who will talk about American Jewish music; and a trip to Philadelphia on June 2 to see the National Museum of American Jewish History.
