Talk on Jewish Cuba

Laurence Fine, son of Temple Israel’s Rabbi David and Alla Fine, will discuss his recent study abroad at the University of Havana in Cuba. His classes were in Spanish, and he lived with a local host family. He will discuss Cuba’s Jewish community, life in Cuba, access to resources, and political attitudes toward the U.S., the Cuban government, and Israel, at Temple Israel & JCC in Ridgewood. 9:30 a.m. Information:
