Symbol and schedule - The Jewish Standard

Far too many months ago, an Englewood Cliffs reader wrote to ask that we note in our listings which events are accessible to people with handicaps. This is certainly a worthwhile and useful idea. We’re sorry it has taken us so long, but we are going to try it. We will run a symbol – a wheelchair within a circle – next to each listing that is handicapped-accessible. But we need the community’s help. When you send us press releases – to pr@jewishmediagroup.com – please add that important information.

Also, please note that the editorial department is taking a winter break from Dec. 21 to 25. There will be no Dec. 25 issue. The advertising executives, on the other hand, will be available to their clients.
