Sports night of champions in Tenafly

The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades holds the annual Sports Night of Champions and the Kurtz Family New Jersey Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Dinner and cocktails, 6 p.m. The legendary Walt “Clyde” Frazier will be there with Karl-Anthony Towns, Knicks All-Star center. The Joseph Taub Scholar Athlete awards will be given to two outstanding student-athletes. Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Noah Garden, Major League Baseball deputy commissioner; Bruce Beck, Emmy Award-winning sportscaster; and Donna Orender, former professional basketball player and WNBA president. www.jccotp.org.
