Spin 4 Sharsheret on October 29
In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly will hold Spin 4 Sharsheret on Sunday, October 29. It will offer three 45-minute morning classes; they are set for 8:15, 9:15, and 10:15. A 10 a.m. Zumba class is new this year.
The high energy spinathon is designed to encourage women to set goals for healthy living and support an important cause at the same time. All proceeds will support Sharsheret, the local nonprofit organization that supports young women and families who are battling breast cancer.
Participants will be entered for a chance to win a free massage at the JCC Spa. They also will receive acupuncture and nutritional information, giveaways, and a chance to win one free service at the Graf Center for Integrative Healing at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, including a one-month pass to meditation classes.
Spin 4 Sharsheret will be held in the JCC Cycling Room. Bike selection will be offered on a first-come-first served basis, 30 minutes before each session.
