To celebrate the holiday season, the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly offers a special arrangement for families who sign their children up by December 30 for this summer’s Neil Klatskin day camp. In addition to receiving reduced weekly rates, those families will save $250 for five to eight weeks of camp or $150 for one to four weeks.

The camp, set on the JCC’s 21-acre campus, has three pools, a sprinkler park, tennis courts, a go kart race track, sports fields, basketball courts, and a challenge course with a zip line. Indoor activities take place in air-conditioned classrooms and gymnasiums. Preschool campers are home-based in the classrooms, and their head counselors are certified educators.

Coaches and specialists in drama, music, the arts, sports, Red Cross instructional swim, Krav Maga, yoga, ropes course, recreational swim, and special events teach age-appropriate programming. Campers 6 and older can tailor their experience to their interests by choosing electives from an array of options. To infuse the camp with Jewish values and themes, the camp celebrates a weekly Shabbat sing and Hebrew immersion options, which include counselors and specialists from Israel. All JCC camps are all-inclusive, providing lunch, snacks, and towel service. Transportation and extended day options are available. Call (201) 408-1448 for more detailed information.
