More than 120 differently abled athletes and more than 75 volunteers participated in the annual Special Games, an inclusive field day presented by the Chuck Guttenberg Center for the Physically Challenged at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly.

There were 14 events at the games, including golf putt, basketball, softball and lacrosse throws, Frisbee toss, soccer kick, bowling, volleyball, and an agility course. All athletes received Special Games T-shirts; they also were given ribbons for each event in which they participated. Music was by DJ Randi Rae; and a barbeque highlighted the day.
