Hava Nagila is a traditional Israeli folk dance song traditionally sung at Jewish weddings, bar mitzvahs, and other Jewish celebrations. It is the first folk song of its kind and dates back to the 1920’s.
On July 19, 2015, this Israeli dance troupe presented a little bit of a different version.
The dancers are more theatrical, more modern. Even the harmonious tune that we know so well has been changed to fit with the times.
