Skating for hope
“The Skate for Hope,” a fundraiser for New Jersey’s Center for Hope and Safety — the organization until recently known as Shelter our Sisters — is Sunday, June 11. It features Teaneck’s own Dalia Rivkin — the U.S. Juvenile Ladies Figure Skating gold medalist and will be at the Floyd Hall Ice Arena in Little Falls, beginning at 1:15 p.m. This is the first charity ice show that Dalia, who will start college in the fall, has produced — and she’s skating in it too. Other great skaters to perform in Little Falls include U.S. Novice Ladies silver medalist Alexia Paganini and Slovakian national champion Nicole Rajicova. Public skating with the performers will be available after the show.
