Shul group takes in ‘Fiddler’
Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley’s Hazak group visited the Museum of Jewish Heritage Folksbeine Theater in New York City to see “Fiddler on the Roof” in Yiddish. The day included bus transportation, museum visit, box lunch, and show. There are many other outings during the year for all members of the congregation to attend. Hazak — the Hebrew word for strong — is for shul members over 55. Its members select activities they like and then plan a day around it. Alayne Pick chairs the group.
