Shul event backs parents of Lt. Hadar Goldin z”l

Congregation Ahavath Torah in Englewood and the Israeli American Council host an evening to support the family of Israeli Lt. Hadar Goldin at the shul on Saturday, October 6, at 8:30 p.m. The IDF soldier was killed in Gaza during Operation Protective Edge in 2014. It is believed that Hamas holds his body, and his parents, Leah and Simcha Goldin, have waged a campaign for its return.

His parents will speak at Ahavath Torah, and the film “Hadar — The Freedom to Create” will be shown. Refreshments will be served.

The shul is at 240 Broad Ave. For information, go to www.ahavathtorah.org or (201) 568-1315.
