Shavuot with a smile and piece of cake

On Sunday, May 16, Cantor Alan Sokoloff, left, and Rabbi Loren Monosov of Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley in Woodcliff Lake, welcomed congregants to the shul’s “Shavuot Greeting Drive-Up.” Here, they give a piece of cheesecake to Karen Albert, who’s in her car, to celebrate Shavuot. Families also took home a synagogue sisterhood directory.
