Hazzan Rabbi Luis Cattan is the Rabbi André Ungar scholar-in-residence during Shabbat at Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley for “a musical journey through Jewish communities of South America.” Friday-night services have a South American flavor; on Saturday, the program continues with services and a sermon about the history, culture, and customs of Jewish communities in South America.
