Service honors choir director

Kol Emet, the adult choir of Temple Emeth in Teaneck, gave a brief concert after Shabbat services on April 28. Jacqueline Guttman of Englewood was recognized for her 18-year tenure as the director of the synagogue choir. Among the composers represented in the concert were Naomi Shemer, David Shukiar, Baruch Chait, Randall Thompson, and congregant Carl Shapiro.
