September Rockland race to honor Holocaust victims

The Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education is hosting “Run for The Six.” The community run/walk, which will follow CDC guidelines, is planned for Sunday, September 13, at 9:30 a.m., at the Rockland Community College track and field, 145 College Road in Suffern. Registration begins at 9.

The group will walk six laps on the RCC track or run a 5K around the campus to commemorate the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust.

A portion of the day’s proceeds will support the Museum’s Café Europa-On-The-Go program, which provides nutritious meals, cheerful notes, and a delivery service to Holocaust survivors.
