Seeking volunteers for spring cleanup

Safely@Home, now a project of the Jewish Home at Home, a member of the Jewish Home Family — it used to be called Bonim Builders and used to be run by the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey — is looking for volunteers, 12 years and older, on Sunday, June 11. They will help Camp Veritans get ready for its summer camping season.

Volunteers are needed for two shifts, 9 a.m. to noon and noon to 3 p.m., rain or shine. Work will include repairs and painting, raking, and general spring clean up. Dress for a mess. Closed-toed shoes are required; work gloves will be provided. Bring a kosher dairy brown bag lunch; cold beverages and snacks will be provided.

Participating adults must accompany children from 12 to 15 years old for the children to volunteer.. Community service letters are available on request. Register by emailing the program’s director, Stacey Orden, at SOrden@jewishhomefamily.org or by calling her at (201) 518-1175.
