Rutgers Chabad hosts Shabbos for 1000

The Chabad House at Rutgers University hosted a gathering of 1,000 Jewish students last Shabbat. This annual event, known as Shabbos for 1000, happened in the grand ballroom of Rutgers’ Chabad House.

Students from diverse backgrounds joined in prayer, song, and a Shabbat meal. All campus Jewish organizations, including Rutgers Hillel, RJX, Rutgers Students Supporting Israel (SSI at Rutgers), Israeli American Council (IAC), JLIC-Rutgers, AEPi, Sigma Phi, and the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey, came together to support the evening.
