The MetroNorth Region/Hudson Valley Area of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism held its annual Torah Fund dinner on April 26 at Bet Torah in Mount Kisco. Sheila Reiter of the Nanuet Hebrew Center, Mimi Rosenstock of the Orangetown Jewish Center, Susan Ecker of the Montebello Jewish Center, and Fran Satran of the New City Jewish Center, were the Rockland honorees. They, along with honorees from sisterhoods in Westchester County, received Woman of Achievement awards.

There was a raffle to benefit “She Plants a Seed for the Future,” a Torah Fund special project. The Torah Fund supports the Jewish Theological Seminary and other Conservative movement educational institutions.
