The brunch and lecture by Father Patrick Desbois’ for Rockland’s Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education has been rescheduled. It now will be virtual and is set for Sunday, November 15, at 10 a.m.
Father Desbois is a professor at Georgetown University, a human rights activist, and the founder and president of Yahad-In Unum. He has devoted his life to fighting the bigotry that fuels genocide and to bridging the divide between faiths. For about 15 years, with his Yahad-In Unum team, he has led a historic undertaking — to find and identify mass graves of Jews and Roma killed during the Holocaust in Eastern Europe, which until now have been lost to history.
Tickets bought for the May lecture will be honored. For more information, call (845) 574-4099 or go to holocauststudies.org.
